
The Network Professional Association® (NPA), in conjunction with Interop, Microsoft, GITCA, Cisco Press and Agile IT proudly announce the upcoming 11th annual Awards for Professionalism, honoring IT workers for their commitment to the ideals of the NPA. Candidacy is open to all networking professionals worldwide through an online nomination process. Nominations accepted year round. Winners selected best exhibit a commitment to technical proficiency, ethical business practices, credential advancement, and ongoing achievement.
Awards for Professionalism winners will be honored with dining and celebration during INTEROP in Las Vegas Nevada, Monday May 7, 2012, at 6:30 pm at the Mandala Bay Buffet.. The profiles and achievements of the 2012 winners will be on display as models of professionalism. Award winners receive a personalized trophy and valuable gifts. Career Achievement Award
This award honors a network computing professional who has demonstrated years of the highest ideals of the network computing professional. This individual serves as a role model in the network computing community and may be considered by peers as an industry luminary.
Professional Excellence and Innovation Award
This award honors the network computing professional who has made the most effective combination of the ideals of professionalism and the innovative use of networking technology and/or products for a particular networking project within the past 12 months.

Best Mentor Award
This award honors the networking professional who has made the most effective combination of the ideals of
professionalism and the accomplished mentor.

This award honors the networking professional who has made the most effective combination of the ideals of
professionalism and is a notable example of the best in giving back through selfless effort..
CNP Torch Bearer Award
This award honors senior members of the computing profession who have made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the profession or the industry by demonstrating that they embody the spirit of the CNP.
